Warren Ivey

Warren Ivey LMHC, CAGS has a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Marriage and Family Therapy from UMass Boston. He earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and a Masters of Science degree in Counseling Psychology, from the University of Baltimore. Warren has five years of comprehensive experience at Sheppard Pratt Hospital, Maryland. He worked seven years in a multicultural population in Roxbury, MA. He worked three years part-time with the Lexington Crisis Team out of the Edinburg Center, and three years in a private practice in Chelmsford. He currently is a clinical supervisor/clinician at an agency in Jamaica Plain, MA, with an additional role as the supervisor of its father support program. He enjoys collaborating with a number of fatherhood/family support agencies, most notably, a Boston DCF office’s Father Engagement Leadership Team as a Community Provider.

Warren is a collaborative family therapist who, from a narrative family systems approach, supports and encourages cognitive behavioral strategies and practices for the family unit. “Children Learn What They Live” is a guiding motto.
